Baby Kael

I can hardly believe that Kael is already 10 months old! He is sooo much fun. The kids absolutely love having a new baby brother. He is so spoiled it's sick. Everytime he cries four kids come running from every part of the house saying What happened to Kael! And between Kaylor and Rebeka he'll probably never learn to walk because one of them is always holding him. And his ears sure do give him extra cuteness! If you would have told me three years ago that I'd have another baby I would have never believed it. (Especially if you told me it would be with my ninth grade crush! HA!) Life is always full of suprises and I love every single one of them.

Little Brooky

Brook started taking ballet and tap this year. Shes so cute up there on stage. I catch her all the time in her room with her radio singing and dancing and making little skits for us to watch. Shes quite the performer! She turned 7 this year and instead of having a birthday with her friends she chose to go shopping at the mall. It was so much fun! She got to miss school and hang out with just mom all day. (Not even Kael came with us) She got a makeover at the mall also. She was so funny as we walked through the mall she would watch her reflection of herself in all the stores windows. She was sure struttin her stuff. Shes probably the one out of all of my kids that grows up and moves away to New York. Shes very into fashion. Brook is also the biggest sweet heart ever. If she had one piece of candy and you gave her the slightest idea you wanted it she would give it to you. She sure is little and petite but she has the biggest heart ever!

"What tryouts are next?"

Where did this girl come from? Kaylor is in gymnastics, Klays in baseball, and Brook is in tap and ballet. Well we were trying to get Rebeka involved in something to pursue as a hobby. We put her in a couple different dance classes with Brook, not so much her thing. We put her in a tumbling class with Kaylor, she enjoyed it while it lasted. We even signed her up for baseball. On the way home from her first practice she says "What tryouts are next?" Teal and I couldn't help but laugh. Our answer was, tryouts are over until next year. I guess we'll give it another try next spring. Rebeka has many talents though. She loves to take pictures and is quite the photographer too. She loves her baby brother Kael is definately his second mommy. And she has a big love for animals. EVERY kind of animal. There was a fly in the house that was driving us crazy. Teal was chasing it with the fly swatter trying to kill it. It seemed to get away everytime he swung at it. And here Rebeka is running around the house yelling "fly speedy fly!" Yes I said speedy, she had named the fly. Shes hilarious! She makes me laugh all the time.

Klay was in baseball last spring. All summeer long he was looking forward to Fall Ball. But just before tryouts he cut his index finger clear to the bone. The Dr told Klay was very lucky that he didn't hit the tendon in his finger and was in disbelief that he missed it. (Since she could see the marks on the bone where the knife hit and the tendon runs right on top of that.) Well Klay, being the spiritual giant that he is gets up in testimony meeting the next sunday and says, "The doctor said I was lucky I didn't hit the tendon in my finger. But I don't think it was luck, I think it was a blessing." Hes such a good kid! Hes always teaching me something. Im blessed for sure to have him as a son. Well needless to say he was very bummed about missing baseball this fall. Klays an amazing brother and son. One of my best friends. Love ya Klay!
